We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of bridge design, construction, and maintenance, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and implementation of complex bridge projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from inception to completion, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and maintenance.
- Conduct detailed bridge assessments, including structural analysis, load calculations, and material evaluations.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective bridge designs, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and environmental impact.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and design documentation, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including structural, geotechnical, and civil engineers, to optimize project outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in bridge engineering technology and industry best practices.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Bridge Engineering.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Professional engineering license (PE) required.
- Strong knowledge of bridge design standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocode).
- Proficiency in bridge analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, Bridge Designer).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
