The Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring uninterrupted product supply to patients in Saudi Arabia by overseeing various supply chain processes and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role is integral to the management team of Saudi Arabia.


Key responsibilities:


Lead all country-related Customer Service tasks, including order intake and management, forecasting, and customs and import permits, while maintaining communication with Amgen customers and overseas supply sites.

Serve as a backup for order-to-cash activities for other clusters within the MEA region.

Identify market sales trends, apply correct stocking policies, and maintain accurate monthly forecasts.

Create and maintain master data elements in SAP.

Manage finished goods inventory in the market, ensuring adequate shelf-life and minimal inventory scrap due to demand variations.

Support the completion of locally derived non-conformances (NCs) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to Amgen global standards.

Assist in local Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities and collaborate closely with Commercial, Market Access, and Finance on budget and last estimates in alignment with supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide key updates to country, regional, and/or global leadership on project status and support in-market new product registration and launch processes.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree and 5 years of direct related experience.

Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Strong understanding and hands-on experience in supply chain processes, including order to cash management, demand management, supply management, inventory management, importation process, customs clearance, and ERP master data.

SAP experience.


Skills & Competencies:


Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret situations/problems using multiple sources of information.

Ability to influence working procedures as per business needs.

Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Education or knowledge by experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or information technologies.

Experience in product registrations and launch processes in the pharmaceutical or bio/pharmaceutical industry.

Understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical regulations.

Financial acumen.
