Position Summary

The Financial Business Controller is responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to the business. This role will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and projections. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Cost Management: Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor spending to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of financial professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial management or controllership
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
• Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with financial planning and budgeting tools
• Certification(s) in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
