Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, warehousing, and transportation.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals.
• Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Cost Control: Implement cost-saving strategies and negotiate favorable rates with vendors.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Technology Implementation: Leverage technology to improve logistics operations and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of international logistics and customs regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
