We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering and experience in open-pit or underground mining operations.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and optimize mining operations to maximize ore recovery, minimize waste generation, and optimize production efficiency.

Conduct mine planning and scheduling activities, including pit and stope design, production sequencing, and equipment selection.

Develop and maintain mine plans, production schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Monitor and evaluate mine performance against production targets, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations of mining projects, including cost estimation and financial analysis.

Implement and oversee mine safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, including mine supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel.

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

years of experience in mining engineering, preferably in open-pit or underground mining operations.

Proficiency in mine planning and design software (e.g., MineSight, Vulcan, Surpac).

Strong knowledge of mining methods, techniques, and equipment used in surface and underground mining operations.

Experience with mine safety programs and regulatory compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize mine operations and solve complex mining challenges.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
